L'Imbuto, Cristiano Tomei's restaurant, is a unique culinary journey that was born from the chef's passion for authentic and local flavors.
After opening his first restaurant in the 1990s, initially on the beach, and subsequently moving his kitchen to the center of Viareggio, Cristiano landed in Lucca, where in 2014 he obtained his first Michelin star.
At the heart of his gastronomic approach is the love for the local raw material: the fish of the Tyrrhenian, the meats, dairy products, the fruits and vegetables of the Garfagnana, but also the herbs, berries, sprouts and wild flowers that he collects every day in the meadows and pine forests that he has frequented since he was a child.
At L'Imbuto, the tasting menu is a completely tailor-made experience. Guests can choose the number of courses they want and signal any food preferences or restrictions, while the chef's creativity is expressed in a personalized gastronomic journey that surprises and enchants with each dish.

Our surprise tasting menu is designed for those who want to live a gastronomic experience out of the box, letting themselves be guided by the chef's creativity.
You can choose between three different paths*, each carefully built according to the seasonality of the ingredients, the imagination of the kitchen, and your possible preferences or intolerances:
- 5-course menu – €110.00 VAT included
- 7-course menu – €130.00 VAT included
- 9-course menu – €150.00 VAT included
