Locanda De' Banchieri - Face to face with the chef!
Once the home of the noble Malaspina family in the fourteenth century, then transformed into a post office by the De' Banchieri family from Pistoia, the Locanda de Banchieri is now an elegant Resort immersed in the quiet of the Lunigiana, a few steps from the sea.
The rooms on the upper floors welcome guests in a charming atmosphere, while the rooms on the ground floor and the panoramic terrace overlooking three hectares of vegetable garden and the sea offer the ideal backdrop for a unique gastronomic experience.
The Michelin-starred cuisine of Chef Giacomo Devoto is a tribute to local tradition, where each dish enhances the seasonality and freshness of the products of the garden and the local markets.
For my Visa customers, there is an exclusive dinner with the "Lunezia Round Trip" menu, characterized by a direct relationship with the chef who will welcome the guests, a dedicated drink, a glass of bubbles to start dinner, and a gift of self-made oil, after having illustrated the entire process of sustainability of the farm and the recovery of the seventeenth-century structure, today with low energy impact.
The menu will be printed on seedable paper and donated as a souvenir at the end of the experience.
The Experience:
Our guests will be welcomed by the chef, who will tell the story of the Locanda de' Banchieri, the link with the territory, and his experiences outside this reality, built thanks to many years of work spent in Valle d'Aosta.
You can admire the splendid panoramic view that extends along the Tyrrhenian coast while sipping an exclusive drink, visit the cellar with over 1000 references, and sit in the front row, where the tasting journey will begin, immersed in the green of our olive grove: "Lunezia Andata e Ritorno".
This route will be guided by the chef, who will tell the details and ideas that inspired the creation of the dishes. The paper menu will be special, made of seedable paper, and will become a memory of the experience: a gesture that expresses the will to offer a sustainable and lively tribute, like seeing a flower grow.
During the summer period, at the permitted times, it will be possible to use the pool and our Jacuzzi.
At the end of the route, guests will receive a free bottle of EVO oil from our production.
