Chef Italo Bassi - Confusion Experience Premium

Italo Bassi was born in Fusignano on July 26, 1969. In 1988, after some seasonal experiences in several hotels on the Riviera, he embarked on the path that would deeply mark his career: the entrance to the famous restaurant "Trigabolo di Argenta" in Ferrara. Here he is trained by Igles Corelli, a visionary chef and pioneer of experimental cuisine, who transmits to him the art of haute cuisine, the use of the most advanced technologies, and a deep knowledge of raw materials.

In 2013, Italo Bassi opened his restaurant, Confusion, in Verona, giving life to a project that blends great Italian cuisine with exotic and contemporary influences. The restaurant stands out for its creative approach and the constant search for excellence, obtaining a Michelin star in 2016.

Subsequently, in 2016, he opened a new office in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, inside the Promenade du Port. Here, the elegant and refined environment is combined with an innovative gastronomic proposal, which celebrates the Italian tradition enriched with exotic and local ingredients, with particular attention to raw seafood and typical Sardinian products.
